Olga Rakova – multidisciplinary artist and educator | Website

Olga Rakova is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Volgograd. She works with collage, collage animation, digital graphics, installation, AR, objects, archives and found materials.

Her practice explores memory as the ground of identity. Drawing on her background in archaeology, she works with personal archives, old photographs, vintage images, broken jewellery and fragile objects. Collage becomes both a method and a form of research, revealing identity as layered, unstable and constantly reassembled.

Rakova’s work brings together memory, femininity, body image and the idea of Home. She is also interested in how physical and digital spaces coexist, moving fading objects into XR and returning them to the material world as artworks. Through this process, she registers loss while opening space for reconstruction.
