Nano Nasty – visual artist | Website
Nano Nasty is a visual artist working with textural abstraction and material imagery. For more than 15 years, she has explored visual language, recently focusing on tactile, dense and intuitive forms.
Her works are made from construction materials, natural elements, recycled matter and found fragments. Putty, cement, sand, clay, pigments, recycled plastic, glue residue, stones and decorative fragments become part of her artistic process.
Her practice addresses corporeality, memory, natural rhythm and sensory perception. Wavy surfaces, porous skins, folds, reliefs and cracks form a physical language shaped by intuition, observation and close contact with material.
Through handmade mixtures and experiments with texture, Nano Nasty gives discarded elements a new visual presence, turning matter into layered, tactile compositions.
