Photo & Art Project by Adam Ripley
Curated by Anna Galeeva

Initiated by TOVA Gallery

In collaboration with The Diversecity Models Team

With artistic contributions by Kristina Tarasova and Daniel Mais

NAGOTA brings together 60 original photographs created over a decade, examining the human body in relation to landscape, perception and visibility. The project approaches nakedness as a state of presence, transformation and connection with nature. The naked body in NAGOTA is understood as a form of visual honesty: a body appearing as real, vulnerable, living and complex before it is reduced to social categories, expectations or automatic judgement.

The collaboration with Diversity Models expands this question into a live encounter. Diversity Models represents talent across ethnicity, disability, body size, age, gender identity and visible difference. Within NAGOTA, this collaboration asks who is allowed to be seen, how bodies are framed and how visual culture can create a more open and generous way of looking.

The main public moment of the collaboration takes place on Tuesday, 16 June 2026. At 15:00, Galerie Zimmer48 opens to visitors and press for a public presentation of the collaboration between NAGOTA and Diversity Models. At 15:40, the public is invited to attend an Artistic Runway with Diversity Models.

The runway brings NAGOTA's key themes — naked body, corporeality, visibility and self-acceptance — into a live format. It creates a public encounter with body diversity through presence, movement and the shared act of looking. In this context, self-acceptance means being seen without correction or concealment, while corporeality refers to the lived experience of inhabiting the body. Through this live presentation, Adam Ripley's photographic research meets the mission of Diversity Models in a space of perception and dignity.
